Kate Mayer is a literacy specialist with over twenty years of experience as an educator, devoted to advancing evidence-based literacy practices. A CERI-Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist and Pennsylvania Certified Elementary Teacher, she co-founded two nonprofit organizations dedicated to equipping educators and families with tools rooted in the science of reading.
Inspired by her journey as a mother of five, Mayer combines personal insight with her professional skills to support meaningful literacy outcomes. She began her career teaching elementary school in California, where she discovered her passion for ensuring all children have access to high-quality instruction.
Whether coaching teachers and administrators or guiding families, Mayer is focused on bridging the gap between research and practice to ensure all students reach their full potential as confident and capable readers with as little emotional impact as possible.
