Meg Olson joined the Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement (CAREI) as a research associate in 2023. Prior to joining CAREI, Meg completed her M.A. and Ed.S. at the University of Minnesota and worked as a school psychologist in Madison, Wisconsin, and in the Twin Cities. Her time working in schools helped shape her interests in social, emotional, and behavioral multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), school infrastructure that promotes equitable student outcomes, and data-based decision making. She is passionate about systems change and advancing social justice in education. In her current role, Meg supports the provision of MTSS technical assistance as well as other applied research projects.
