Wendy Stuttgen, Ed.S., NCSP is Associate Director of Literacy for CAREI. She is also a certified Minnesota Department of Education sponsored facilitator for Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) and serves on the state and regional LETRS Transformation Zone Implementation Team. Before these roles, Wendy worked as a literacy consultant, director of special education, and school psychologist. She has also been part of the School Psychology graduate program faculty as an adjunct professor.

Wendy recently co-authored with her daughter Daisy Describes Dyslexia and How She Learns to Read, a children's book to help children and parents understand dyslexia and what evidence-based literacy instruction looks like in schools.
