        With a doctorate in curriculum and instruction and over 18 years of experience in different facets of the educational industry, Suzanne Russell specializes in data-based decision-making with the goal of maximizing student growth as the driving factor, implementing research-based best practice instructional strategies, and collaborating with and supporting other educators as an instructional coach and intervention mentor. Russell has experience as an elementary and middle school classroom teacher, special education teacher, K-5 interventionist, instructional coach, literacy specialist, adjunct professor, and literacy consultant. She is passionate about coaching educators to be able to identify and fill knowledge gaps early on so that students can become independent, confident readers.
