Laura Potter

Bio

Laura Potter joined the Center of Applied Research and Educational Improvement in June of 2020. Her experience includes serving as a School Psychologist and site-based Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Lead in Minneapolis Public Schools, as well as conducting program evaluation work with the Northside Achievement Zone (NAZ) in North Minneapolis. Her professional interests include bridging the gap between research and practice/policy in education, implementing effective MTSS systems in PreK-12, and developing assessment tools to track and improve fidelity of implementation of evidence-based practices. At CAREI, she engages in program evaluation and technical assistance work on a variety of projects, including Special Education and MTSS Audits and the Wisconsin Minnesota Comprehensive Center.
