Biography

Annie Goerdt, PhD, is a Research Associate at the Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement (CAREI). Goerdt received her doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Her research and practice focuses on school mental health, data literacy and data-based decision-making, equitable measurement and assessment practices, and multitiered systems of support for the social, emotional, and behavioral (SEB) domains. Goerdt is passionate about translating research-to-practice to improve outcomes for all students, especially for those who have been historically marginalized. At CAREI, she engages in a variety of program evaluations and research projects to support systems-level change in education.
